LIghts, Camera, Action

Updating photos and doing very short videos has been my project the past couple of days.  My store on Etsy.com  encourages short (5-15 sec) videos for each listing.  Since I have close to 300 listings I don’t think I’ll be doing that but I do have a start on them with 24 done.  They are simple once the set up is in place.  Since it takes a little time to do the photo set up I think it will stay on my work table for a little while.

I use a white vinyl backdrop draped over a shelf propped up by two cans of paint.  Very chic.  I do like to use props and they may be flowers, books, reading glasses, greenery, and for the coastal scenes I’ll use sand, shells, and rocks.  Since everything is up and ready to go, I’ve been trying to remember to do a still photo too to add to the listings. The lighting is comprised of two lume cubes and one panel light that attaches to my camera.  I add a couple of other photo lights too.  It’s a bit on the make shift side but seems to work for me.  The camera is on a tripod so I can adjust as needed.
