These may be called sculpted canvas, crumpled canvas, or altered art. They are always a surprise when finished because I’m never exactly sure where they will end up. There are so many variables in the process it becomes a little bit of a mystery. Some have texture medium and most have metallic gold leaf. The back is painted black and has two hangers so the client has a choice of which direction to hang them or they can sit on a surface. See more on my website under “sculpted canvas”.
