Over the past few months I’ve been working on a series of paintings that have playful geometric shapes in an orderly, and not so orderly arrangement. I haven’t really come up with a name for this series so for the moment am calling it “Bits and Pieces”. The lively shapes and colors are full of fun and I feel fun to look at and enjoy. Any ideas for a name for the series? The close up detail photos give a good idea of how each color plays against the next and gives the painting some spark and are happy pieces of art.

Ahhh, thanks so much, Martha. I appreciate your very kind words. I’m afraid my YouTube demo videos are the best I can offer for a glimpse into my process. I can’t seem to work, think, talk, and be entertaining all at the same time. Much of what I do is instinctive and spontaneous and I have no idea how to teach that. Thanks again! Keep at it.
