This painting just sold and it’s time to put a wire on the back before it gets wrapped up and shipped out. Many of you know how to do this but just in case you don’t here is a walk through with pictures so you can see the process.
1. Measure and mark about 1/3 of the way down from the top of the painting.
2. Assemble wire cutters, wire, screws, hooks, and crimpers.
3. Screw in the hook.
4. Feed the wire through hook leaving about 2″. I use a stainless steel plastic wrapped picture wire.
5. Wrap tightly then crimp making sure the end is as smooth as possible.
6. Repeat on the other side. You have it!
