It’s been a long time, but I fondly remember my younger days spent at the beach. Growing up in Southern California in the South Bay going to the beach as much as possible was a given. Wiggling your toes in the warm sand, wading in the cool water, and hanging out with your friends. What could be better?
I recently did an art festival called Menlo Summer Fest where they sponsored a contest for artists who depicted summer and what it means to them. The photo above is my entry entitled “Salt Air” and is 18×36.
