Reworking a painting is sometimes daunting and sometimes cathartic. What started out with 10+ layers may now have twice that. This painting sat in my studio in several states of “almost finished” for almost a year. I finally decided that it was going to get it done. It went through many transformations and ended up here. The extra texture medium gives it even more depth and dimension.
It’s entitled, “Bounce Back” because of it’s many lives. The YouTube video below gives you an idea of what it went through.
Fascinating.loved the end result.
Thanks, Rachael. It became a bit of a trial but I’m happy with it now.
